Know when you or your horse have reached your limited. It is important as Kelly Marks once set is to remember about 'latent' learning....

Horses uses 'latent learning' as a process to integrate what they have learnt.

Research has shown that if you are trying to teach a horse something over and over and over and they are not 'getting' it.....chances are they will get it the next day...because of latent learning.....

Sometimes they just have an off day....the same as we do.....
